I signed my husband up because he was a nervous wreck. This was his first and my second. I'm happy to report that after the class, he was much calmer and a lot more helpful.

You will do great, Pete! Remember the humor when you get the first "OMG!" diaper. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07285654347088740166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6757771273830064214.post-69096318293531408942012-10-11T14:57:50.750-04:002012-10-11T14:57:50.750-04:00The course was pretty cool... It was very informative and covered everything from how to pamper mom to change a diaper. I think they have moved it to the civilian arena. I know when it first started it was specific to the military dad. But anyway, I wrote for the post newspaper and because of that, I was always looking for interesting stories. One thing I found was something called Boot Camp for New Dads. It was for the new father to learn how to be a daddy! I, of course, immediately signed my husband up. And I will happily admit that I am the first female to have graduated the class. But, I had no choice, I was there to record the class. I wish they had more of those classes out... would hate for all those men to read to much into What to Expect (BROWNIES) when you are Expecting!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03023339201867111342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6757771273830064214.post-38480151641067528462012-10-10T22:05:48.712-04:002012-10-10T22:05:48.712-04:00Ummm.yep! :)Ummm.yep! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15618867858623697571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6757771273830064214.post-25476138746651947892012-10-10T19:31:13.936-04:002012-10-10T19:31:13.936-04:00I had to laugh at the way you read between the lin...I had to laugh at the way you read between the lines. What you "read" is definitely pretty close to what I was thinking about my own husband when I was pregnant. He spent a fair amount of time coming up with jokes about vomiting (I threw up daily for duration of my first pregnancy).
Everything can be fixed with brownies though, so I think you are on the right track in your thinking. Best of luck!
